Hello, thank you for visiting The Activist Writer. My name is Diana Estigarribia and I’m a New York-based writer, researcher, and author.

For the past 10 years, I’ve written for the web, magazines, and newspapers, as well as authored nonfiction books for the school/library market. I’ve written for television (VH1), magazines, newspapers, and online publications, including Latina, CosmoGirl, The New York Observer, IGN.com, and iVillage.com.

In 2009, my play Help Wanted, about the trafficking of two young women in Indonesia, was shortlisted as a Finalist for The BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition.
